AN ARGYLE ACADEMY UPDATE!

Be sure to check out the facelift I've given argyle academy dot com! The portfolio section much easier to find and look through. If you find any bugs, please be sure to let me know.

Special thanks to Jeff Fiore who did all the web coding stuff. If you're looking for some web work, I can't recommend him enough. He's great to work with.

Here's an (unfinished) idea I've been working on for an editorial illustration. This is a mix of found paper, colored pencils, and digital stuff.

the argyle academy on Orange Piel

Have that one blank wall that you've been considering completely covering with drawings of sushi? Well, check out Orange Piel who now carries my work, as well as the other Lilla Roger's artists. They print our images as huge prints that you cover your walls with.

the argyle academy in ANORAK

I recently finished up a TEN page story for an incredible children's magazine called ANORAK. I found out about them a while back and have been hoping to do something for them. The story I worked on was about Barnaby, a paper boat for their SUMMER TRAVEL (08) issue. You can order the issue here or buy one at one of these stores .

a Swedesplease facelift.

I recently did a new banner for Swedesplease, a favorite blog here at the argyle academy. They focus on Swedish pop, indie, electronica, etc and they are one of the few blogs I'm sure to check out daily. Who knew there was good Swedish music other than Ace of Base? (click the banner above to see the banner in action)

Who are some of my favorite Swedish bands? Easy.

1. The Concretes (well, until this happened)
2. Sondre Lerche
3. Dungen
4. The Sounds (guilty pleasure)
5. Shout out Louds
6. And, is it possible not to love these guys:

(I'm sure I'll add to this list after I think about it a bit more).
