I just reordered more of the Pirates! button packs and tonight saw this great little photo of them on Six Cent Press' website.  I'm currently putting together some self promotion packs for Surtex, and will post more images soon.

A new journal - finally one that's easy to scan

After YEARS of drawing in Moleskine journals, I recently switched to a different type of journal that's seems like it'll be a bit better for a) working with wet media and b) scanning. The moleskine's binding and size can't be beat, but it's yellowish paper (which looks amazing) isn't great for watercolor or ink wash and it makes getting good images for the web tough. I tried the watercolor moleskine, but there was a little too much tooth to the paper. I'll probably switch back when I finish this journal, but for now, here are a few pages:

I finished a small watercolor sketchbook today.  I'll post a retrospective of it later, when I get a chance.  Can you guess all of the alphabet images?
